For a major customer in the UK, we are gradually implementing an integration with OpenText and its Content Hub for Publishers ("CHP").
Generally, we hereby allow attachments to be displayed in Kordiam. This feature helps the planning board of the customer in its decisions for the planning and development (scope, distribution) of a story.
The feature is also available for any other Kordiam customer.
What does the integration do?
Content from the CHP digital asset management (DAM) system can be dragged and dropped as attachments to stories in Kordiam.
In a first step, this already works on the new story list, where these attachments are displayed as thumbnails in a separate column:
A click on the thumbnail will open a new browser window (currently - in the next version as a pop-up window) with the file in its original size.
How to add attachments
There are different ways to upload items into the attachments' section:
- Besides drag & drop from a DAM or external folder,
- pictures and documents can also be uploaded to the story list from OneDrive, Google Docs and Dropbox, as well as any other location.
- Furthermore, documents can also be uploaded in the detailed entry mask of a Kordiam story.
Any document in common file format can be uploaded.
What are the requirements?
This feature is currently only available on request from support@kordiam.io and must be activated by Kordiam first.
Attachments need to be enabled in the settings of the story list to be displayed there.
Please contact us at support@kordiam.io to learn more about this integration.
