The Slack integration custom field in Kordiam enables users to initiate and access dedicated Slack threads directly from Kordiam.
Note: If you’ve already installed the previous Slack integration for your workspace, a Kordiam administrator must reinstall it to activate custom‑fields support. Simply go to the General Settings page, reconnect Slack as outlined here, and the new integration will take effect.

With the Slack custom field, you can:
- Create a dedicated Slack thread directly from a story, task, or publication within Kordiam.
