Additional remarks:
- US users can enter date and the time in the formats mm/dd/yyyy (e.g. 06/25/2013) and hh:mm am/pm (e.g. 4:30pm), repectively.
- The names of all formats not mentioned above such as “table” are also valid as a Fast Entry command
- If you want to assign a task to a user add a “:” right behind the command and then the user’s code. Example: video:mkr
- Commands are case-insensitive (e.g. „PictUre“ is the same as „picture“)
- Separate individual commands with a blank (e.g. “picture start:15:30”)
- You enter commands in any order (e.g. “picture video” is the same as “video picture”)
Here are some examples that might help you when starting to use the Fast Entry feature:
- "author:robert video" (assigns an article to user with code "robert" and creates a video assignment)
- "audio:melissa 16:30 end:17:30" (creates an audio task and assigns it to user with code "melissa"; it also creates an appointment related to this story that starts at 16:00 and ends at 17:30)
