New user profiles
For user profiles created after mid November 2016 the following logic to this feature applies:
- Internal users: The checkbox allowing other users to request a confirmation from a user is always hidden, as we know that most internal users are never asked to confirm an assignment.
- External users: The Ask for Confirmation checkbox is always displayed and activated (the assignor user can de-activate the checkbox for the assignee user on a case by case basis).
Admins can edit this setting in the user's profile under Admin > User > Category Task Confirmation as follows:
- Never: The Ask for Confirmation checkbox is always completely hidden for that specific user profile.
- Always: The checkbox is always displayed and activated.
- Case by Case: The checkbox is always displayed, but the default state for a new assignment is Off. The assignor users can activate the checkbox on a case by case basis.
Existing user profiles
For user profiles created before mid November 2016 the following logic applies:
- Internal users who have been asked to confirm/reject in the weeks prior to mid November: The checkbox will continue to always be displayed and can be activated on a case by case basis.
- For all other existing internal user profiles the setting will be set to Never.
- For external users the setting will be set to Always meaning the checkbox will always be both displayed and activated.
