In June 2026, we released our new API 2.0. It will make the integration contracts clearer, more predictable, and easier to maintain over time!
The documentation of API 2.0 includes its own changelog.
Why we launched a new API
1. API 2.0 is the foundation for all the AI capabilities that we plan to integrate into Kordiam, including MCP- and LLM-based features. Customers who wish to take advantage of these capabilities will need to switch over.
2. Going forward, we will release new features and bug fixes exclusively via API 2.0. This means that users of the old version will continue to have a functioning integration, but will not benefit from future developments.
3. API 1.0 will remain active until the end of 2027, after which it will be deactivated. This gives you ample time to migrate to the new API version. We recommend making the switch as soon as possible. This will also minimise the effort required for a later migration carried out under time pressure.
4. The domain https://desk-net.com/api will continue to be supported, just like the old API version (see point 3).
5. Dedicated endpoints for attachments and content are not yet included in the current API 2.0. We are currently working on a new file upload service based on Amazon S3, which is scheduled for release soon. The attachment and content endpoints will be added as part of this service or shortly thereafter.
