Improvements and new features

  • Added the possibility to filter for empty values on the Story List and the Tasks Page for the following fields: Tasks, Single Choice and Multiple Choice Custom Fields, Platform Types, Users and Platforms. For Undated Stories, the option to include or exclude stories based on platform presence is moved to the Platform filter section. 
  • Added a numeric icon to the Tasks column on the Story List, displaying the total number of tasks.
  • When creating a new task via the Tasks column on the Story List, publications are displayed directly if there are fewer than 5, simplifying the selection process. If there are 5 or more publications, the dropdown menu is used instead.
  • Added the possibility to remove tasks directly from the Tasks column on the Story List, either by unlinking them from a single publication or deleting the task entirely.
  • On the Task Page, the Event Date filter now includes an option to specify which events to consider: main events, separate appointments, or both.
  • Removed the cancel button in the update warning message when editing a story on the Detailed Entry to prevent accidental overriding when a story is updated in the background by other users or external systems.
  • Display of the Slug field in bold and italic on the Dashboard and Short Term Planning views.
  • Increased the Note field character limit from 2000 to 3000.
  • Included "CMS Open" and "CMS Edit" links to the Global Export Payload.
  • Dissallowed manual editing of CMS and Online Links if they are set via API. 
  • Implemented a feature that can be enabled on account level that forces a page reload upon returning to an inactive Kordiam tab in the browser.
  • New cell height calculation that improves performance on the Story List.
 

Fixes

  • Fixed an issue in the admin area for Custom Field creation (Single Selection and Multiple Selection types) where the page did not automatically scroll when rearranging options using drag-and-drop.
  • Fixed an issue with the search bar on the Story List where it would jump back to the found element after the user scrolled to a different position.
  • Fixed Whitelabel Page Error redirect after resetting password.
  • Fixed too strict Task Status validation when updated via API. Relaxed validation rules to allow assigning any task status via API (including deactivated ones) or a null value to tasks, regardless of their linked statuses, improving flexibility and resolving related issues.

Fixes

  • On the Story List, the dialog that appears when editing a publication date, asking if other publication dates should also be updated, can now be disabled. To do so, users can check a box that allows them to always edit only one publication date at a time.
  • Now, when adding tasks to a story on the detailed entry card with only one platform whose publication date is in the past, the 'Assignment to Platforms' dialog will be displayed as well.

  • Resolved an issue with the red "+Story" button, ensuring that story creation is now standardized between views. When using the red "+ Story" button, the publication is automatically scheduled for the next possible publication date based on the current date.

Improvements and new features

  • Added a new Custom Field type Number for numeric data.
  • Implemented a new email confirmation process for user profiles. Users will now receive a confirmation email with a link to verify changes.
  • User passwords have new requirements for stronger safety.
  • Tasks added to stories with publication dates in the past will no longer be assigned to those publications.
  • Extended the functionality of the Move Publication Date widget when editing dates in the Publication Date column on the Story List and Tasks page.

  • Story List: Resolved an issue with Saved Views where column order&selection was changed after switching back from the Detailed Entry to the Story List.
  • Story List: Fixed an issue with incorrect sorting when sorting by platform custom field.
  • Tasks Page: Resolved tasks with separate appointments not being loaded correctly.
  • Platform Type Filter: Resolved an issue where selected "Platform Type" filter setting from the Story List was incorrectly affecting the Tasks Page.
  • Topics: Corrected behaviour with deactivated Topics still appearing in the auto-suggest popup on both the Story List and Tasks Page.

  • Improved the design of the update warning on the Detailed Entry when a story is modified in the background by other users or external systems.

Fixes

  • Tasks Page: When the Overdue filter is applied to only display overdue tasks and the sorting option Deadline is selected, the sorting will be adjusted to display the most recent overdue tasks at the top of the list.
  • Resolved an issue with user filters incorrectly applied to saved views on the Tasks Page.
