What's new?
From Entry Form to Story Card
The previous detailed view was primarily designed as a form for entering data.
With the new Story Card, Kordiam introduces a modern workspace:
- Tasks and platforms in direct context
- Display of attachments and content
- Better visibility of connections between elements
Familiar Structure – A New Experience
The new Story Card keeps the familiar basic structure:
- What is this story about?
- What needs to be done?
- When and where will it be published?
However, the layout has been completely redesigned, allowing content to be captured and edited much more efficiently.
More Clarity for Complex Stories
Especially for extensive stories or stories planned across multiple platforms, the new Story Card offers key advantages:
- Space-efficient, modern design
- Improved readability and structure
- More information visible at once
- Easier planning across multiple platforms
Better Task and Platform Coordination
A major highlight is the improved transparency between tasks and platforms:
- Connection between platforms and tasks are also visible on the task level
- These connections can also be edited there
- Teams can more easily track responsibilities and publishing platforms
Drag-and-Drop and Content Preview
The new Story Card supports modern workflows:
- Content can be organized via drag-and-drop
- Previews enable faster work without switching context
The New Context Box
On the right-hand side of the Story Card, the new Context Box provides quick access to:
- Change history
- Map view
- Attached documents
- Uploaded content
This eliminates the need to switch between tabs and makes editorial workflows more efficient.
Beta Version and Parallel Usage
The new Story Card is initially available as a beta version alongside the existing entry form.
This gives teams the opportunity to gradually get familiar with the new view and provide feedback.
During the parallel usage phase, initally each user must actively switch to the new Story Card in order to use it:
Switching between the old and the new version during this phase is possible at any time without issues. Please note, however, that you should not switch views while there are unsaved changes in a story. Make sure to save your changes first before switching.
