Enter Stories Using the Fast Entry Feature

Kordiam enables you to quickly enter a story with its Fast Entry feature.

You access the feature by clicking on the Add Story links that appear when you hover your mouse to the right of a section/page name.

STATUS: The story's status is pre-defined (Kordiam always remembers the last status setting). You can change the status by clicking on the blue or green icon.

DESCRIPTION: Enter your story's title (i.e. the slugline) into the title field. Don't forget that you can enter bold text by placing the text in between two asterisks ("*").

You can now save your story. However, in case you want to add some assignments to it you can do so in the assignments line.

TASKS: Simply enter typical assignments such as "picture", "video" or "graphic". Kordiam understands these commands and adds them accordingly to the story. This is the equivalent of adding a task on the Detailed Entry mask. It is possible to enter several such assignments - just separate them with a blank. 

In case you want to select a user for the assignment simply add a ":" followed by the user's code.

• "video gallery:tom"
