Undated Stories are stories that
- either have at least one platform without a scheduled publication date,
- or that are not assigned to any platform at all.
They are primarily used to manage story ideas or pre-scheduled articles such as gap fillers, the standing record, or obituaries.
Scheduled and Undated Stories Together
Both scheduled and not yet scheduled stories can be displayed on the Story List.
You have the following options:
- Only stories with platform and planned release date.
- Only stories without platform or without planned release date
- View all these stories together
A new feature is that you can now select from the unscheduled stories those that have not been assigned a platform at all.
You make the selection in the new menu at the top left.
Working With the List
There is practically no change in working with the story list compared to the functions already available on the site for a longer time (learn more about the functions).
However, in the case of the combined view of scheduled and undated, there is now an option to drag and drop undated stories to a publication date. To do this, the list must be grouped by publication date (set via the grouping menu relatively centered at the top).
Time Limit
As before, Kordiam does not show all undated stories, otherwise this list would become extremely large and slow for some customers.
We display the undated stories without a platform that have been created or modified within the last 180 days.
All other stories without a platform can still be found via the search.
