Kordiam allows you to store two types of IDs that users may have assigned to them in other systems:
- the Supplier ID for freelancers and
- an External User ID for employees.
These IDs can be used for billing purposes and to associate users with an external system, such as SAP. They are included in the user list that can be exported.
This feature is not enabled by default in your Kordiam account. If you would like to activate it, please contact support@kordiam.io for assistance.
Supplier-ID
If you wish to assign an identification number to a user for billing freelance activities, Kordiam provides the option of assigning a Supplier ID. If activated, this ID can be entered by an administrator in the user's profile.
The Supplier ID will be displayed to the user on their My Settings page.
External User ID
The External User ID is an additional identification number that can be used to associate a user with an external billing system. This ID can be entered by an administrator in the user's profile, similar to the Supplier ID.
The External User ID will be displayed to the user as the "Staff number" on their My Settings page.
However, both IDs can also be imported to Kordiam via ftps using a CSV file. If you wish to do so, please contact support@kordiam.io for assistance.
